Epifanio Comis & Darko Brlek

SAMIT Event Group’s ‘VIP Classical – Cultural Music Circle’ presents a captivating evening of classical music featuring the inimitable talents of Italian pianist Epifanio Comis and Slovenian clarinetist Darko Brlek, joined by the Sangiorgi String Quartet. The concert is organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy to the UAE and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia to the UAE.

With this project, audiences will be treated to a unique and intimate concert experience, allowing for close interaction with the artists in a private setting.

Awarded the “Sergei Rachmaninov International Award” in 2013, Epifanio Comis is a celebrated soloist, conductor, and professor who has toured globally and collaborated with leading orchestras. He serves as Principal Conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica of the Bellini Conservatorio in Catania and Artistic Director of the Ljubljana Festival International Piano Competition.

Darko Brlek is one of Slovenia’s foremost cultural figures, serving as General and Artistic Director of the Ljubljana Festival and President of the Expert Council of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor. An acclaimed clarinettist, he has received numerous national honors, including the Order for Merits from the President of Slovenia.

Completing this distinguished lineup is the Sangiorgi String Quartet, founded by violinist Enzo Ligresti. Known for their refined artistry, the ensemble has performed widely across Italy and Europe at prestigious festivals and venues.
